Layer it up
Using multiple textures such as rugs, throws and curtains is a great way to keep the winter chill at bay. Not only are they practical for the dropping temperatures but, they’re also aesthetically pleasing.
While in Summer, we tend to lean towards lighter soft furnishings, such as cotton and linen, Autumn is all about heavier materials such as faux fur, wool and velvet.
Introduce a New Colour Palette
Colour sets the mood in our home. Every colour evokes an emotion and the tones and shades of colours heavily influences these emotions. We love using warmer, earthy, neutral tones as it starts to cool down. This year tobacco tones are more popular than ever, rust has made a strong return and olive and forest green shades have become a popular autumnal colour.
